In 2018, we investigated a large number of prehistoric footprints in the Aldène and Tuc d’Audoubert caves in southwestern France. At the end of this intensive period, we asked colleagues responsible for each cave, Philippe Galant for Aldène and Robert Bégouën for Tuc d’Audoubert, to write down their fresh experiences and thoughts.
